Lorraine and Saul had the most incredible Grand Tradition Wedding this past weekend. Every last detail was done to perfection. Lorraine’s off the shoulder wedding gown by Lauren Elaine Bridal was a showstopper. Saul’s toast to his bride was beautiful and sweet. The colorful floral designs by Dawn Weisberg of Tularosa Flowers were breathtaking.
The cornerstone of any luxurious wedding is the venue itself, and Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens does not disappoint! Even though the property is just a quick drive from my house here in San Diego, the entire estate reminds me of a tropical oasis in Hawaii. Surrounded by lush gardens, shimmering waterfalls, and a picturesque lake, this wedding destination is romantic and sophisticated. From the moment Lorraine and Saul’s guests arrived, it was clear the stage was set for an unforgettable celebration.
One-shoulder bridesmaid dresses exude elegance and sophistication, making them a popular choice for modern bridal parties. I loved these Birdy Grey bridesmaid dresses in a muted maroon or burgundy tone. It reminded me of the color marsala, which was once the Pantone Color of the Year. The gentlemen looked dapper with matching bowties and tailored suits, while complimenting Saul’s light-colored three piece suit. Saul and Lorraine’s wedding day was formal, and the colors they chose added allure and regality to the overall bridal aesthetic.
Luxury wedding flowers adorned with deep hues and intricate textures create an opulent and enchanting atmosphere for Lorraine and Saul’s 2023 Grand Tradition wedding. Rich burgundy, velvety maroon, and sumptuous blue blooms, combined with an array of lush green foliage, add depth and drama to the floral arrangements. Tularosa Flowers used mix of soft petals and bold textures, including David Austin garden roses, local dahlias, delphinium, campanula, nigella, olive, and fern to evoke a sense of romance and fascination. A giant wall of fresh flowers in the wedding color palette set the backdrop for guests to snap polaroids and group photos.
In the enchanting setting of a lush garden with a majestic waterfall, Lorraine and Saul’s wedding ceremony at the Arbor Terrace was a dream. Amidst the vibrant blooms and cascading waters, a close and dear friend, Ace Antonio, took on the role of the officiant. His warm and genuine presence infused the ceremony with a sense of familiarity and love, making the union even more special.
The reception of the Grand Tradition wedding took place in a whimsical open-air pavilion, adorned with twinkling lights and billowing drapes that fluttered gently in the warm breeze. Bursting with vibrant colors and lavish floral arrangements, the tent was transformed into a kaleidoscope of joy and celebration. With San Diego’s Republic of Music, the dance floor came alive with excitement, and guests danced the night away.
