Anne and John’s Cannon Beach Wedding was just as magical as I expected it to be. The weather was warm and the sunset was full of color as the moon rose over Haystack Rock.
Ecola State Park
Anne and John rented a gorgeous home in Ecola State Park that had sweeping views of the ocean and Haystack Rock, where they shared a private first look and exchanged private wedding vows. Then, we headed out of the forest and met with their bridal party at the beach dunes near the Surfsand Resort for photos before their beach ceremony.
Ocean Ceremony
Anne’s aunt was their officiant at the beach ceremony, where a string quartet played some of their favorite music. It was a perfectly sunny day for an intimate Cannon Beach wedding.
Haystack Gardens Reception
Guests were greeted at Surfsand Resort’s Haystack Gardens with a gorgeous champagne tower during cocktail hour. I loved the reception tent at Haystack Gardens and the hydrangea gardens that surround it. The string quartet surprised Anne’s mother with a sentimental song, ‘Moon River’.
Perfect Cannon Beach Wedding Sunset
Anne and John’s sunset photos were an absolute dream. A crescent moon rose above Haystack Rock and the sky was full of pinks and purples at dusk. Anne changed into a second wedding gown just for sunset photos and I thought it was a perfect dress for the occasion!
