I think of October in San Diego as a time of year with perfect weather and beautiful sunsets. It’s the ideal setting for an unforgettable wedding. Lissa and Nick’s luxury La Jolla Shores Hotel wedding was an ultra-romantic event. Their wedding blended coastal luxury with bohemian elements through light, texture, and color.
Designed by Valentina Weddings & Events, some of the captivating features included a charming seating chart display. A sign reading “We Took a Shot at Love” along ‘shot-sized’ drinks for each guest. Mai Floral Design created beachy bohemian floral arrangements with muted color palette. Terracotta, beige, and ivory hues created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The addition of bright white blooms and accents provided the perfect contrast to enhance the wedding’s elegance.
The use of texture added bohemian charm and coastal beauty. Where large dried palm leaves gave structure, delicate baby’s breath and pampas grass softened the design.
Asymmetrical floral arrangements on a gold metal arch was a beautiful focal point against the ocean backdrop. Lissa’s flowing white gown and Nick’s light suit perfectly fit the La Jolla Shores wedding design.
The reception design included the floral arrangements from the ceremony. Candlelight and crisp linens adorned each table. White cane chairs with rattan backs and hanging rattan fixtures added coastal charm to the elegant design.
