Ally & Caden’s Paradise Point Resort Wedding
As a wedding photographer, there are certain celebrations that capture your heart from the very first frame. Ally and Caden’s San Diego destination wedding at Paradise Point Resort & Spa was undeniably one of those days. Nestled on a private 44-acre island oasis in the heart of Mission Bay, this iconic venue provided the ultimate backdrop for a love story that felt completely effortless, yet wildly romantic.

From the warm summer breeze to the meticulously curated details, every element of Ally and Caden’s day spoke to their sophisticated style and deep connection. Opting for a timeless blue and white color palette, they seamlessly blended classic elegance with the relaxed luxury of Southern California’s coastline.

Love & Support from Family and Friends
One of the most heartwarming aspects of Ally and Caden’s destination wedding was their incredible bridal party. From childhood to college friends and cherished siblings, our bride and groom were surrounded by love and genuine joy. Some of my favorite moments from the day included the bridal party’s pre-ceremony moments, grand entrance and their toasts to the bride and groom.

The Waterfront Ceremony at Paradise Point Resort
The ceremony overlooked Mission Bay, anchored with a wide white aisle, white pillars and abundant blooms. Rose petals lined the aisle and large arrangements of hydrangeas, blue delphiniums, peonies and roses filled the space. When it came time for the vows, Ally and Caden exchanged the most beautiful, heartfelt words – promises filled with inside jokes, memories from their journey together, and a true commitment to their future.

An Unforgettable Reception on a Blue and White Dance Floor
As the wedding guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Ally and Caden got to have some one on one time during their bride and groom portraits. Then as the sun set over the bay, the wedding transitioned into the grand, beautifully draped Sunset ballroom that felt both intimate and majestic. The focal point of the entire reception space was a stunning, custom blue and white checkered dance floor. It perfectly reflected the wedding’s color narrative and tied together the grand floral arrangements and modern chandeliers.

Guests were treated to an exceptional bar experience featuring three custom signature drinks. A strawberry mojito and classic old fashioned honored the bride and groom. A decadent espresso martini honored their beloved dog, Rivers.

Ally and Caden danced the night away with their guests, adding a trucker hat toss, light sticks, a photo booth, and late-night snacks to the wedding experience. Ally changed into two showstopper dresses, including a mini lace dress for the cake cutting. Later, she put on a sparkling fringe dress to finish her time on the dance floor!
