Halloween is finally here! This year I got so busy that I knew there was no way I would be able to construct a costume for Riley out of pieces of felt and fabric glue like I did for her toothpaste costume and her rainbow fish costume (since I don’t know how to sew, ha!). Jen and I decided to have our girls be matching superheroes, and we set out to design fabulous pink and gold costumes for them. My mother in law was kind enough to sew the capes and create the cuffs and belts for the girls – didn’t she do an amazing job?! Jen and I then designed their ‘logos’, and I love how they came out. If you look closely, you can see Riley’s initials, RC, in her diamond. Cayden’s initials, CR, are the same font style! We then glued glitter stars to plain white t-shirts, threw together some simple tutus, and got the girls snazzy gold spandex leggings from American Apparel. These photos are from the other day when the girls donned their outfits and practiced ‘flying’ out in Orcutt! And just for kicks, here are her costumes from the past two years!
