When you invest in Mirelle Carmichael Photography, you can expect a professional, courteous, and experienced photographer. Working with your planner, Mirelle will offer advice on your wedding day timeline to ensure that you not only have time for the photographs you want with the best lighting, but that you also ENJOY your wedding!

How far in advance should we book?
Be sure to book your San Diego wedding photographer as early as you can. It would be best to book Mirelle Carmichael once your date and venue are finalized. If you would like to include engagement photos in your wedding photography package, it would be best to do the engagement session 6-8 months before your wedding date. This way, you can include engagement photos with your Save the Dates.

What’s the best time for wedding photos in San Diego?
Clients really can't go wrong any time of the year when planning their San Diego wedding. However, the best weather in San Diego with warm days and clear skies tends to occur from September through October. Clients looking to book November through February in San Diego will find less crowding around their venues (avoiding the holidays), a mild climate, and greater vendor availability. March and April can have a risk of rainy days, but the landscaping around San Diego is in bloom and perfect for colorful photos. Late May through June will have warm weather but the coastal marine layer tends to hang around through the afternoons. July and August can be quite warm, but that means comfortable warm nights for dancing the night away.
