We recently got back from spending 2 weeks on the east coast, starting things off with a gorgeous Washington DC engagement session (check out Jim and Jackie’s loveliness here) and then going all over the DC area, and into Virginia and North Carolina to visit my husband’s family. It was a wonderful trip, and highlights included 1) my daughter mastering the Metro, 2) losing my phone in a taxi for over 24 hours, then having the driver personally bring it back to our hotel (Seriously!), and 3) A private tour of the West Wing for just our family (WOW!!!)
