Katrina and Scott’s wedding embraced everything that makes this Carmel venue so special, moving throughout the property from a quiet first look beneath the trees to an al fresco celebration under the stars.

Katrina wore a timeless taffeta wedding gown by Jenny Yoo, while Scott chose a classic black tuxedo. Their goldendoodle, Willow, was dressed for the occasion too, in his own little tuxedo! Before the ceremony, the two shared a private first look on the Carmel Valley Ranch bridge, where the tree canopy filtered the afternoon sunlight and created the prettiest soft glow.

An Organic Garden Ceremony at Carmel Valley Ranch

Everyone moved to the Organic Garden for the ceremony, the most colorful setting for a September wedding at Carmel Valley Ranch. Guests sat along rows of dahlias, vegetables and bright sunflowers surrounded the ceremony space, with the rolling Carmel Valley hills creating a beautiful backdrop.

Afterward, everyone made their way to Harvest Landing for cocktail hour overlooking the vineyards. Carmel Valley Ranch’s mini donkeys made an appearance while the guests listened to live music and enjoyed mini espresso martinis.

Dinner Among the Vineyards

As the September sun began to set, guests walked down the vineyard path through rows of vines toward the Vineyard Lawn. The transition from cocktail hour to dinner became part of the experience itself, with golden evening light settling over the property.

Dinner was served al fresco on the lawn beneath the trees and string lights, surrounded by the vineyards and hills of Carmel Valley. After sunset, the celebration continued with dancing under the stars. It was the perfect ending to a wedding day that felt effortlessly connected to the landscape.
