Marti embodied effortless elegance in a Pronovias gown, complete with a dramatic full veil that floated softly in the La Jolla breeze. Her bouquet of white lilacs and lily of the valley added a delicate fragrance and timeless charm, perfectly complementing the refined aesthetic of the day. Her ethereal makeup and classic hairstyle, beautifully crafted by the team at A Toast to Beauty, enhanced her natural beauty while maintaining a soft, romantic feel.
Jake looked equally polished in a tailored suit, accented by deeply meaningful engraved cufflinks from Tiffany & Co., a gift his father had made when he was born—an heirloom detail that added emotional depth to his wedding day look.
Elevated Design – Elegant Wedding at La Jolla Country Club
Seamlessly blending coastal luxury with springtime romance, the La Jolla wedding design was brought to life by Karli Spangler Events. The bridesmaids wore flowing green gowns in a fresh spring hue, paired with gemstone statement earrings.
Florals by Parker & Posies transformed every space into a lush garden of hydrangeas, peonies, and towering centerpieces. White lilacs carried throughout the day, from bouquets to boutonnieres, creating a cohesive, fragrant signature scent for an ocean view wedding in La Jolla.
The La Jolla Country Club reception design featured a thoughtful mix of mirrored tabletops and floral-embossed linens. Depth, texture, and reflection added to the candlelit ambiance.
La Jolla Luxury Golf Course – Wedding Reception
Following a music-filled cocktail hour on the La Jolla Country Club patio, guests were welcomed inside for an unforgettable dining experience. A luxurious dinner of lobster and filet mignon was served in a candlelit room overflowing with florals and refined details.
The celebration only grew more vibrant as the night went on. Dart Collective kept the dance floor packed from the first song to the last, creating an electric energy that carried throughout the evening. Guests enjoyed espresso martinis served from an elegant ice sculpture. A live Cuban cigar roller from Payne Mason added a sophisticated, experiential touch at the La Jolla Country Club.
The custom design elements truly elevated the San Diego country club wedding—including a stunning 10’ x 20’ stage backdrop by Cavalier Bars & Backdrops, with hand-painted inserts by Nina M. Rosner. The stationery suite and signage by Magnolia Boone Paperie tied every visual detail together beautifully.
Sweet Details & A Grand Exit
One of my most favorite details of the evening was the wedding cake by Sugar & Scribe. It featured layers of vanilla, blueberry, and coconut that was as delicious as it was beautiful.
Marti and Jake departed through at sparkler exit into a classic white Rolls Royce—an iconic ending to an already extraordinary day.
