I photographed the most beautiful luxury spring wedding at Rancho Valencia, with some of the San Diego wedding industry’s most incredible talent. The bride and groom paired beautifully in an ethereal gown designed by Neta Dover, and a modern cut tuxedo from Friar Tux.

The day began with a little fog among the olive trees and lavender. As the sun came out we explored the property together. The Spanish-colonial style architecture with earthy tones, tiled staircases and full gardens are the perfect backdrop for wedding photography here in San Diego.

An abundance of white, ivory and pale pink florals and cane backed chairs set the stage for the perfect intimate ceremony in the rose garden.

Being a tennis enthusiast, the editorial photographs at Rancho Valencia’s tennis courts were among my favorites from the day. Honestly, if I could play everyday, I would! To create a an aura of retro, the bride wore a short satin gown by Hera Couture, and we used vintage racquets and white tennis balls for the shots.

My happy place is anywhere the people I treasure in my life are. I’ve been lucky in my career to make friendships with some of the loveliest people in our industry. Any opportunity where I can work with my friends, I will jump into!
