Ranch Wedding One Year Later

Having waited an entire year for Emily and Dylan’s Leo Carrillo Ranch wedding to happen, I am thrilled the day has come! With perfect summer weather and ocean breezes, this Carlsbad wedding venue is always a stunner. The afternoon light on the Spanish style architecture never disappoints. The waterwise gardens are full of color this time of year. Peacocks freely roam the grounds and delight the guests.

Summer Wedding Attire

Emily’s lace dress is a favorite of mine. It has an open back and a high neck – two of my favorite features! The soft ivory color compliments her beautiful skin. I also love how she wears her hair back to show off the back of her wedding dress. Dylan’s blue suit and turquoise bowtie shows off his eyes.

Leo Carrillo Ranch Wedding Ceremony

Emily and Dylan exchange vows and a few tears under the shade of Leo Carrillo ranch’s ceremony tree. Flowers and greenery wrap the trunk and one of the low branches. The bride’s sister officiates the wedding, and her nephew plays the piano during the processional.

During the cocktail hour, guests play lawn games and enjoy fresh drinks and tray passed hors d’oeuvres from Personal Touch Dining. Personal Touch Dining handles all events for Leo Carrillo Ranch Weddings.

Bride and Groom Photos at Sunset

There are so many picturesque places around the ranch for bride and groom photos. The giant bougainvillea arch in the late afternoon light has always been one of my favorite spots. The iron gate at the entrance of the villa is also a favorite of mine.

Family Moments at Leo Carrillo Ranch

Some of my favorite moments from Emily and Dylan’s Leo Carrillo Ranch wedding day includes their family members. Dylan’s nephew is the ring bearer and loves running around with his cousins (and new cousins-in-law)! Emily’s niece and flower girl gives a touching toast during their reception. Emily’s parents share lovely advice to the newlyweds for a loving and lasting marriage.
