Inspired by spring in San Diego, the design embraced a fresh and vibrant color palette of wisteria, deep yellow, and layered greens. The combination felt both elevated and playful—perfectly complementing the natural surroundings of the lake, the soft seasonal light, and the lush landscape.

A champagne display greets guests, which is an inviting prelude to a fully curated journey through the property. The tone is inviting, with thoughtful design elements layered into every space and moment.

A One-of-a-Kind Guest Experience on the Water

One of the most memorable parts of the day was the transition from land to water. Guests board a private boat and are taken across the lake to the resort’s private island. This experience immediately sets this venue apart from traditional San Diego wedding locations.

On the island, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with live music by Marelle Music. Florals by Mai Floral Design leaned into the spring palette, weaving soft purple tones with rich yellows and greens, creating arrangements that felt like luxury, airy, and perfectly in tune with spring.

The table design is layered and intentional, with design details from Catalog Atelier, Brasa, and Mai Floral Design. Overhead, café lighting and installations by Town and Country casts a soft glow, enhancing the romantic lakeside setting.

Live entertainment continued throughout dinner with performances by Platinum Pianist, Marelle Music, and violinist Nick Kennerly. Together they created an atmosphere that felt both elevated and relaxed.
