Lanie and Thomas’s 2022 Carmel wedding was the perfect way to kick off my year. Every aspect of their wedding weekend was perfect. As a result, I could hardly put down my camera!

Wedding preparations at the family home in Pebble Beach took place throughout the week. On the morning of the wedding, Lanie got dressed in the master bedroom. I love the beautiful natural light coming in from the windows and roof.

The Carmel Mission Basilica is one of my favorite ceremony locations in California. The interior colors, ambient light, and architecture are a photographer’s dream!

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family posed for photographs in the mission courtyard.

Because there was a long break between the ceremony and reception, we were able to have an extended time for bride and groom photos. Lanie and Thomas are so photogenic, I could have gone on forever photographing them!

After their sunset photographs in Pebble Beach and a little break, Lanie and Thomas danced the night away at their gorgeous, elegant reception!
