A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to assist Erin Gouveia of Erin Kate Photography at Karen & Andrew’s gorgeous Prado Balboa Park wedding.  I fell in love with the story of their romance.  They had known each other since childhood, and despite an unfortunate ‘child’s play’ incident at Disneyworld in which Karen lost her treasured Minnie Mouse ears (Andrew’s fault?!), they fell in love years later and when Andrew proposed one Christmas, he first presented her with rhinestone-encrusted Minnie Mouse ears, telling her he hoped it would make up for losing her originals when they were young!  I also loved how his ring was inscribed with the words ‘space heater’ in Chinese, because he always keeps her warm!  Working with Erin was such a great learning experience for me- I met her when she shot my maternity photos last year!  Thank you Erin for letting me have the experience and pleasure of shooting with you and experiencing Prado Wedding Photography.  You are very inspiring!!
